About Tour Package

After breakfast, we drive south from Addis Ababa to Adadi Maryam, departing around 8:00 a.m. and back by 5:00 p.m., traveling approximately 45 km on asphalt road followed by about 18 km on a good gravel road.

Adadi Maryam is one of Ethiopia's remarkable medieval rock-hewn churches and an important example of the country's distinctive religious architecture.

From Adadi Maryam, we continue to Tiya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mysterious prehistoric stelae. The beautifully carved stone monuments are among the most fascinating archaeological sites in Ethiopia.
